Redig ("we," "our," or "the app") is a fitness tracking application developed by Modum Ventures. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Workout Data
- Exercise names, sets, reps, and weights
- Workout dates and duration
- Training session history
- Custom exercise configurations
- Machine settings and notes
Device Information
- Device type and iOS version (for app compatibility)
- Anonymous crash reports (if enabled)
Purchase Information
- Subscription status (Premium/Free tier)
- Purchase receipts (processed by Apple, not stored by us)
How We Use Your Information
Primary Uses
- Provide Core Functionality: Track your workouts and display progress
- Sync Across Devices: Use iCloud to sync your data between your Apple devices
- Premium Features: Verify subscription status to unlock premium features
- Analytics: Show you your workout history, progress charts, and insights
We Do NOT
- Sell your personal data to third parties
- Share your workout data with advertisers
- Track your location
- Access your contacts, photos, or other personal data
- Create advertising profiles based on your fitness data
Data Storage and Sync
Local Storage
All your workout data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service. This data is:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Stored in your personal iCloud account
- Subject to Apple's privacy policies
- Not accessible by Redig developers
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device and iCloud account until you delete it. We do not maintain separate copies of your data on our servers.
Premium Subscriptions
Subscription Management
- Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store
- We receive only confirmation of subscription status, not payment details
- Apple handles all billing, receipts, and payment information
- Manage subscriptions through iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
Subscription Types
- Monthly Premium ($4.99/month)
- Yearly Premium ($39.99/year)
- Lifetime Premium ($149.99 one-time)
Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
Third-Party Services
Apple Services
We use the following Apple services:
- CloudKit: For iCloud data sync
- StoreKit: For in-app purchases
- App Store Connect: For app distribution
These services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We do not use third-party analytics services. Any analytics shown in the app are calculated locally on your device.
Your Rights
Data Access
You can access all your workout data directly within the app.
Data Deletion
You can delete your data by:
- Deleting individual workouts within the app
- Deleting the app (removes local data)
- Disabling iCloud sync and deleting iCloud data via iOS Settings
Data Portability
We are working on features to export your workout data.
Children's Privacy
Redig is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Security
We implement security measures including:
- All data sync uses Apple's encrypted CloudKit
- No external servers store your personal data
- Subscription verification uses Apple's secure StoreKit APIs
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or App Store update notes.
